WIP check! I'm not finished, but front and back ar WIP check! I'm not finished, but front and back are done, and I've joined to knit the body in the round, so it's full steam ahead now! The pattern calls for waist shaping, but I don't think I will be doing that, I prefer a loose fit. Hopefully I'll be sharing the completed project soon.

I didn't think I'd be starting a new knitting proj I didn't think I'd be starting a new knitting project anytime soon (I have quite a few projects in course), but I sat down and decided what I want to have for our upcoming holiday, and this light sweater made with mohair will be perfect for layering.

This is the craft book that started it all for me. This is the craft book that started it all for me. I remember being so fired up the first time I read it, way back in 2002 or so. I was at my cousin's house, and ordered myself a copy soon after. It's one of the first books that showed me what it was possible to create with simple supplies and methods. A lot of the ideas in here are timeless, and can be adapted to any home.
