After talking about having an uncluttered working space I wanted to show you all the room where it happens. (I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned this here, but another of my obsessions is the Hamilton Musical. If you know, you know).
I ran my five day Get Clear and Get Crafting workshop in January, and the first step is to clear off your working surfaces. These photos are what the ideal situation is like.

Of course since I am constantly working on projects, my space is always in a state of flux. I do try to stop every so often and clear stuff up before it gets unmanageable though. Here’s a current shot.

My studio is in our unfinished attic which drives me crazy because I still don;t have enough storage space, but I also know that I am very lucky to have this large space that is all mine.
What does your “room” look like?
P.S. That workshop I mentioned is accessible for you to take at any time!
Your space looks so inviting and creative, Francine. Thank you for sharing it. Hoping you are well!
Thank you my dear!
My daughter would love to have a space like that to work in, I’ll be sending your site to her to poke around. Looks like some fun crafting things to explore.
Thanks so much!
My craft room is also my office, so I need to do a clean-up now and then if I want to concentrate while writing on the computer! 🙂
I know the feeling. I need to move some piles off my desk today!
My “room” looks like a comfy chair and a couch and a kitchen counter, occasionally pressed into service. Not a lot of crafting going on, but lots of writing gets done with my chromebook on my lap. My space is seldom completely clear, either. But I make an effort to tidy up, too, fairly regularly.
It sounds very comfy. I need to work on relaxation spots in my studio.
