Tuesday Tip – Kanban Board

Tuesday Tip – Kanban Board

Still can’t keep track of your many projects? Try a Kanban board. Say what?

A kanban board is a project management tool designed to help visualise work. Kanban boards visually depict work at various stages of a process using cards to represent work items and columns to represent each stage of the process.

Kanban boards are usually set up on actual boards in offices etc. but you can make a mini one in your bullet journal!

I use it in conjunction with my crafty bingo sheet. The bingo sheet is an overall look at many projects, while the kanban pages in my notebook are focused on short-term projects.

The boards typically have three columns : To-Do, In Progress and Complete. After using my original board for a while, I added an on-hold column as well. Sometimes you need to put projects aside for various reasons!

This has really helped me to visual my craft “workload”, and also stops me from starting too many new projects at a time!

Is this something you would use in your crafty bullet journal?
